Featherston's Hit Streak Reaches 30 Games: The Tourists proved to be mere mortals today as they lost to the Crawdads 8-3, but Taylor Featherston continued his god-like hitting as he collected 1 hit and ran his hitting streak to 30 games.

When asked about his torrid-hitting shortstop, the Asheville skipper said, "Featherston is playing great and is on fire now. Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins."

Featherston was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said, "We lost the game. Nothing else really matters."
Taylor Featherston grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.

For the year Featherston is batting .329 with 3 home runs.
