Eagles End Wright's Streak: Bob Wright of the Pittsburgh Crawfords came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 21 games. Making matters even worse for the catcher, Pittsburgh dropped the game to the Wilmington Eagles 9-0.

"It was not a good day today," Wright told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over."

Wright is currently batting .381 with 9 home runs, 48 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He has 88 hits in 231 at-bats.
