Peeler Pops 3 Out of the Park Against Wildcats: His swing was a thing of beauty. Three times Matt Peeler swung the bat and three times he delivered a home run. It was an awesome sight to behold at Skyline Ballpark%2C but to no avail%2C for as good as he was%2C the Walt Whitman HS Wildcats were better.%0A%0AThe Clifton HS Mutiny couldn%27t capitalize on the big game from Peeler and dropped the contest 20-17.%0A%0AThe mood in the Mutiny clubhouse afterward was subdued%2C with several players remarking that they had allowed the Wildcats to spoil the day for Peeler.%0A%0A%22Some of the boys are beating themselves up about it%2C%22 Clifton HS manager said. %22They know we win as a team and lose as a team%2C but it%27s hard to really put that idea into practice on a day when one of you was playing on such an obviously higher level.%22%0A%0AIn addition to the homers%2C Peeler collected 9 RBIs and scored 3 runs.%0A%0A%22I got three pitches down the pipe and popped them%2C%22 the Clifton HS right fielder told reporters. %22Today I was in a groove.
