Tigers Donovan Jeffries Down and Out for Year: The doctors have spoken and Donovan Jeffries of the Oliver Ames HS Tigers didn%27t like what he heard. The 16-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Jeffries sustained his season-ending injury during the Temiskaming District Secondary School Saints game yesterday at Ballpark of Bethlehem HS. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Oliver Ames HS medical staff reported Jeffries had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 8 months.%0A%0A
